Not a rant, a real Windows 11 update question.... what the heck is it doing?

Don't stress, Despite my reputation here I'm not judgemental and very accepting of everyone. I'm just curious about what would motivate your attack/investigation on religion. It's your fault, the synopsis sold me:

That's easy: hypocrites. I've seen a lot of hypocrites, including family members like Mom, who couldn't see the hypocrisy in her actions versus so-called beliefs. I believe you will have more difficulty reading #1, because I think I still used a lot of 'that's in the writing, and other redundancies back then. (And I notice I still don't automatically edit them out, as seen above.) But as long as you are curious, have fun!

(Made me curious. I just checked and can't find a copy of my first edition. Found a second edition, though! It was also meaty! :laugh: You will definitely see all of the wrong astronomy, but you will also see that the core of the correct astronomy had became understood through those efforts - just shift a thousand years, come to grips with the '60' nature of Judges 16 (which still blows my mind - the priests really did that? But they did, and I can understand why they did given the bigger historic picture. 440 years is mind-blowing no matter how I view it.) And wallah!)

Please read it first, and satisfy your curiosity. I may still find it, as I haven't looked everywhere and do kinda remember it being in some shelves I am loath to tear into.

Pro Tip... don't use modern Window OS on old hardware. Its slow, it uses legacy driver emulation & it doesn't make your life better. Align the hardware age in your computer with the Window OS lifespans. Match those two & it will be smooth as butter.
Umm, not to be argumentative, but your statement contradicts reality. This occurred on a less than 1 year old AMD Ryzen 7 based laptop, 64GB ram, RTX3080, gigabit ethernet, and a Samsung NVMe SSD. No, Microsoft's bugs and design decisions are legendary. I noted how I fixed it above, but I think the update process has a race condition in it where the "let's go do the update" code misses the completion of the download. Conjecture on my part, but another post above explained how the process worked. I can understand not having drivers with older hardware - but the update process should detect a mismatch and give a meaningful error. Unfortunately MS simply does not give a crap.

LOL, How did you know. That's nuts. Yes, I haven't had a cold or virus in a really long time. I was running a small fever (two days) but that passed, I still feel like dirt but feeling much better. I've been bragging to my friends and family how I seemed to be immune to Covid and haven't been sick for a long time. It finally caught me (not covid), seems like the common cold. If you are waiting for more feedback it may be a while. The tracking on your first edition book says December 28th, plus the week to read it. Did your book show the 6th edition or the 7th edition in the copyright page? I just received an order and it gave me the 6th edition! If so, return your copy to Amazon for the correct version. If you remember reading a chapter on the three paths of the Babylonians, and illuminating what they were, you have the 7th edition. But I'll bet you have the 6th. That's why you didn't get the right page count!!! The 7th also has a chapter on Moses, for 16 chapters total. edit: now I have to go back to commiserating with myself for my poor addition abilities! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

(Which also may explain why your copy was $5, and they haven't paid royalty on it yet. So the current edition will probably run the $20. :( )

Your first edition arrived today. This thing doesn't have any copyright notices or anything. Book is in good condition, slight wear and normal signs of use. It has 434 pages not including blanks, dedication and table of contents. I left you a review over on Amazon. Can you check if you can see it? My Review page says "hidden by Sensitivity Filter · Dec 27, 2022" on that review for some reason. Never seen that before. If, when you open the cover, the first page shows my 'Out of pain comes anger...' prose, someone has probably cut the copyright page off for some reason.

I see it on a logged-in browser, and a non-logged-in browser! Thanks! Let me know if you don't get a proper 7th edition. If you do, you will get more answers as to what my original contributions are, as the new work verified the Nibiru identification, and opened up the 'three paths' of the Babylonians. If you do so and contact me via email, I'll outline the changes between the 6th and 7th, so you don't have to re-read its entirety.
