I am completly uninventive in this case I name them <DOMAIN>DC#. eg: RADIMGDC0 RADIMGDC1 The other guy here uses cartoon characters. mojojo John

This reminds me of a company where I worked in Wisconsin,USA. Allmost all the servers were named after GreenBay Packers (American Football team) players names. Even the mainframe password was Packers quaterback's name. :eek:

Well Mojojo doesn't sound right...;P Mojojojo on the other hand, does...and it has a nice feel of repitition to it. Kinda like the "it"s in repitition. Hi all how do you name your servers at work? some use characters from books (lord of the rings for example) what do you use? bryce --- Publitor, making Pubmed easy. http://www.sohocode.com/publitor
I'm a geek, but everytime I repave my laptop I use a different Star Trek ship name...right now I'm on Valiant (a Defiant class vessel, named so after the USS Defiant). The IT guys were baffled one day when the found Defiant in Network Neighborhood. :-D
