but you have to be very, very careful how you say it.

Charlie Gilley “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” BF, 1759 Has never been more appropriate.

A new guy in prison gets a list of jokes by number, listens at night to the other prisoners. Charlie: 37 Everyone roars with laughter Jim: 22 Again everyone roars with laughter This goes for many nights and one night the new guys decides to give it a try. New guy: 16 Not as peep. Next day he asks his buddy: "What did I do wrong" Answer: Timing

My SO and I have been together for some time and she's been giving subtle hints lately about tying the knot. So I'm pretty dumb you gotta hit me over the head and straight out tell me what you want, and she hasn't. So the other day I said to her: "You remember that jewelry store where you had your earrings reset?" She got all excited and responded: "Yes" I said: "There's a hardware store next door would you pick up a box of nails on your way home?" Now she's madder than hell and that's how the the started.

I haven't spoken to my wife this month. I don't want to interrupt her.

I read about the difference in meaning between "completed" and "finished" yesterday. Marry the right woman, you're completed. Marry the wrong one... You're finished!

Telegraph marker posts ... nothing to do with IT Phasmid email discussion group ... also nothing to do with IT Beekeeping and honey site ... still nothing to do with IT

One of my favourites, that one. Haven't heard this punchline before and I like it. I'm familiar with "It's not the joke buddy, it's how ya tell it"

Not likely. Married 63 years here. First 60 were the hardest!

                    >64 It’s weird being the same age as old people. Live every day like it is your last; one day, it will be.
