For such a trivial test, it actually came fairly close to the last real IQ test I took. Emode Original IQ Test[^]. "Roger, you are a Facts Curator. This means you are highly intelligent and have picked up an impressive and unique collection of facts and figures over the years. You've got a remarkable vocabulary and exceptional math skills."

"This means you are highly intelligent and have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results." :~ One thing I am not, is creative... :~ Oh well, I guess I didn't score *too* badly, so... :-D Paul ;)

There's too much smart people on cp... some must have been cheating or this iq test is crap: supposedely if you have 130 you have more than 98% of the rest of the people.... almost 90% of the people who registered have 130+ ;P:confused: Jonathan de Halleux.

This would then probably equate to 90% of the members of CP are more intelligent than 98% of the norm. :) Paul ;)

we can tell your Intellectual Type is Visual Mathematician.

This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in
pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your
overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the
big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn
to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that's
just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Ahm. If they say so.. :~ -- Serial killers don't kill their boyfriends.

You must understand that the makers of the IQ test are sucking up to you, so that you will be more tempted to buy their "smart people services". I'm smart enough to not buy their crap. Does that make me smarter than they claim I am, or just them more stupid? :) -- Serial killers don't kill their boyfriends.

you're right. This test is crap! Here's a real test (well-known). Supposedly, Albert Einstein wrote this riddle, and said 98% of the world could not solve it. "There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a man with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same beverage." Any cpian above 130 should be able to solve it. (good luck and prepare coffee) Jonathan de Halleux.

                  1. I think Einstein was too quick to speak about this one (as many other things.. :)) 2) It's a repost - answer's been posted I have tried the Mensa "test tests" and were judged to have good chances of joining. Of course, I never joined - this brain is not going into the Mensa collective! -- Serial killers don't kill their boyfriends.

"This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns" I'm not sure how accurate is this since I took this a couple of months back and I got higher then?:~

135 Visionary Philosopher, which still didn't motivate me to pay them money. They should have given me 165 or so to make it worthwhile. I did fire up calculator to find the square root of 144 + 256 because i was feeling lazy but when i saw 400 i was able to finish in my head it!
