A third rate actor , who was a drug taking body builder is elected to high political office. How do you think this affects how the rest of the world views the USA ? Do you care ? Is it any different to Italy electing porn stars ? Space reserved for wit , humour and correct spelling.

I'm not really aware of what happened in California, so what I say is more a feeling than a firm opinion: * it's sad that somebody without a real program can be elected just because of his impact on the media. * it's great that somebody who isn't a professional politician for years can be elected.

It doesn't matter what it really is or what Americans know it as. You asked for foreign perception and you got it :) I have to agree with Corinna though, seems like a bit of a strange place :-D. I think Arnie being governor is quite cool though :cool: I hope he does well.
