My friends and I get together almost every weekend for LAN parties. Each week we seem to get something everyone else wants: mods, patches, movie trailers, etc. It would be really cool if each of use could run a small server like app that indexes all of our files we want to share and also have a viewer to download/open the shared files. The whole browsing the network shares through explorer is a pain in the _ _ _. Anyone know of a program like this? Or is everyone going to suggest I make one;)

Nullsoft posted it with source and then yanked it a day later and said people can't use it, but there are tons of sites that have it and Nullsoft doesn't seem to care to much. But it's basiclly a P2P client for a small group of people. Maybe there is something similiar that works just as well....

Well, I might recommend looking around for a copy of WASTE, since I think it's legal to use... Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Nullsoft posted it a while back, but AOL pulled it. It's a peer-to-peer for up to 50 people, secure, etc.
