Sorry guy's but this was a long time comming: It is .NET not .Net. Please get it right when you mention it - it is almost as anoying as people using American spelling... What the heck is a favorite? Why not take out the 'o' too and make it favrite? It's been a hard day.

Hmmm. Do you think if Microsoft shouts ".NET!" loudly enough, that will encourage us to use it? As far as the American spelling goes:     four (i = 0; i < INT_MAX; i++) {         //...     } just doesn't seem to work. :-D "Think of it as evolution in action." - 'Oath of Fealty' by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle

A logo is completely different from written text. The Microsoft logo has a pacmanesq 'o' in the middle, but that doesn't mean you write it like that. The official stuff I've seen always uses a capitol NET. Net looks too much like a normal word.

That's another word you American's have messed up - f*ck. Until you guys started including it in your raps and graffiti, it was a perfectly innocent replacement for “sex”. Nowadays it is considered vulgar. I am holding you personally responsible Stan.

".NET" is a regsitered trademark, thus it cannot be altered. So yes, there is an official way to write .NET. Reference, US Trademark no.s: 78013861, 78014051, 78014049, 78014052, 78014025, 78014025, 78014023, 78012920, etc... (note that although the logo states ".net", the word mark is ".NET") Regardless of that (trademarks are - I believe - case insensitive), Microsof themselves spell it like .NET. http://microsoft.com/net/ I think it is safe to assume the spelling now, no?

Sorry guy's but this was a long time comming: It is .NET not .Net. Please get it right when you mention it - it is almost as anoying as people using American spelling... What the heck is a favorite? Why not take out the 'o' too and make it favrite? It's been a hard day.

Do you capitalize the dot when it is used at the beginning of a sentence?
