Always direct link first, cached if necessary. I was only pontificating this morning on how much space it must take to cache as many images as they do. Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder

Direct link, cached if the current page has changed (or the site no longer exists). I don't like keyword highlighting myself, as it's too visually distracting. You usually end up with something that looks like this:

Reason is that it helps to pick out the part of the document that I need to focus on quickly....yes, I could do the Ctrl+F thing, and then search for the keyword that am looking for, but find that a quick scroll, then read the appropriate bit is much simpler.... I didn't think Google cached images. If you look at the Google cache of a web page and then do a properties on any image, the URL points to the original site. Visit Riverside Internet[^] Visit Mike Puddephat Online[^]
