The best thing I have found to do is the following Right-click My Computer Click Advanced Tab Click Settings under Performance Select adjust for best performance and click ok This in-effect stops the themes service and free 16 mb of memory (And the bonus is you get rid of tellytubby windows I live in a world of my own but it's ok because everybody knows me there

I don't run it - I use either Aikon XP or Eclipse OSX so I don't have "tellytubby windows". To me the so called "Windows Classic" look just looks horribly dated now.
