"[Washigton senator] Murray called on the Bush administration to 'engage' the EU in settling the [EU fines MS] case. 'The EU has now directly attacked the authority of the United States and our economy in general,'" After reading this[^], I am considering to wear a helmet and a flak vest while coding. You never know when the airborne cavallry striks. Seriously, Patty Murray is a politician, and as such not to be taken *too* honest. But this statement sounds a little bit over the top, or is that just me? Precisely, what was the authority of the United States in the European Union about? Just the authority of the biggest gun?

"We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we would be reorganised. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganising: and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress, while producing confusion, inefficiency and demoralisation." -- Caius Petronius, Roman Consul, 66 A.D.

And it would throw the EU back to the command prompt. If MS was a privately held Corp and not a public one I bet old Bill would do it in a heartbeat. Thats why Star Office was first developed in Germany, and then aquired by SUN (Andreas von Bertolsheim, another German). There is a conspiracy going on, as could be clearly proven when Mercedes aquired Chrysler. And Mrs. Murray is the first one to realize that. You are right! Absolutely!
