I'm so disappointed in you, Marc. ;) While you could install messenger plus, a true hack would write a little app that gets the main application window for Messenger, then gets the child window using the "MSNMSBLGeneric" class (good ol' Spy++), then makes it go away through various means.

How did I know that you would reply with something like this, Heath? :)

Jeremy Kimball magnae clunes mihi placent, nec possum de hac re mentiri. (Large buttocks are pleasing to me, nor am I able to lie concerning this matter)

hehe. Wrong Marc! (no, I don't even bother to keep up with celebrity "news". I just got a chuckle out of the link[^] at the bottom of the MSN Messenger window. Anyone know how make that window go away, BTW?) Marc Microsoft MVP, Visual C# MyXaml MyXaml Blog

Been there, done that. Been hiding and moving windows. Sometimes with decent results, until you start resizing the window. Weird things happen then. :) -- Booohoo!
