It's a gorgeous day outside, but I'm stuck at my desk. Naturally rain is forcast for Saturday. What's everyone up to this weekend? Talk to me. Please!!!!! :-O

I hope the rain holds off as I have been invited to the launch of the new Mini Convertable at the local BMW garage. Should be a nice day out. :) Ant. I'm hard, yet soft.
    I'm coloured, yet clear.
    I'm fuity and sweet.
I'm jelly, what am I? Muse on it further, I shall return!

We have so much rain outside :( This afternoon some friends stop by with their 3 kids, and they leave again sunday, so I guess I won't go shooting any photos even if the weather become better... ;) - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!" I've just got confirmation of my new office telephone number, so my first task is to write an ad to put in the local paper to help me drum up business. (Anybody with experience of writing this kind of thing, hints would be welcomed) One of my clients has just come up with an urgent feature request, that needs doing ASAP, so it looks like I'll have to do some coding this weekend too. Sadly, the project is an old MFC/C++ project so I won't get to use all the cool C# and MyXaml[^] code I've been working on. Michael CP Blog [^]

Not what i want to be doing. I want to go flying(Gliding) but the weather forcast is grim. It always seems grim on a Saterday these days but better Fridays and Sundays. Sadly Saterday is the only day i get off between work and family. I havn't managed to fly for 3 weeks and its getting depressing. :(( Jon

Tomorrow is the last day of the Beltane Week in Peebles, Scottish Borders[^]. There is a fancy dress parade through the town tonight with prizes for the best ones. All the local primary schools have floats + lots of other groups. Tomorrow morning there is a parade with some of the fancy dress people + normally 6+ pipe bands, silver band etc. Then there are the Beltane Sports including a 10K road race + 3K fun run[^] Should be good fun.

There is a Beltane fire festival[^] in Edinburgh which is on the 30th April and is to celebrate the arrival of spring. The Peebles Beltane[^] marks the return of summer and has been combined with the Riding of the Marches (town boundaries) to become the Peebles Beltane.

It's a gorgeous day outside, but I'm stuck at my desk. Naturally rain is forcast for Saturday. What's everyone up to this weekend? Talk to me. Please!!!!! :-O

I'll be working, like I do every weekend. But that's a lot better than the alternative - not working at all. I think they're beginning to appreciate my talents. Yesterday the boss was worked up about inventory value being reported far too high. It took me all of 10 minutes to locate the first $150,000 error; no one else in the company knows anything about inventory control.:) Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.
