Meg's World - Blog PhotographyAw, it would be a shame if it rained for Wimbledon. You'd probably have to listen to Cliff Richard sing, aww the agony ;P Ant. I'm hard, yet soft.

It's a gorgeous day outside, but I'm stuck at my desk. Naturally rain is forcast for Saturday. What's everyone up to this weekend? Talk to me. Please!!!!! :-O

Meg's World - Blog PhotographyNot what i want to be doing. I want to go flying(Gliding) but the weather forcast is grim. It always seems grim on a Saterday these days but better Fridays and Sundays. Sadly Saterday is the only day i get off between work and family. I havn't managed to fly for 3 weeks and its getting depressing. :(( Jon

Meg's World - Blog PhotographyTomorrow is the last day of the Beltane Week in Peebles, Scottish Borders[^]. There is a fancy dress parade through the town tonight with prizes for the best ones. All the local primary schools have floats + lots of other groups. Tomorrow morning there is a parade with some of the fancy dress people + normally 6+ pipe bands, silver band etc. Then there are the Beltane Sports including a 10K road race + 3K fun run[^] Should be good fun.

Meg's World - Blog PhotographyI'll be working, like I do every weekend. But that's a lot better than the alternative - not working at all. I think they're beginning to appreciate my talents. Yesterday the boss was worked up about inventory value being reported far too high. It took me all of 10 minutes to locate the first $150,000 error; no one else in the company knows anything about inventory control.:) Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

It's supposed to be warm and sunny, so that the celebration can proceed outside. It looks like it'll be a dull thing inside. (Dark clouds are looming up above). I've even bought seasoned liquer for the mandatory schnaps. I guess I'll finish it quickly, and move on to the red wine. I'm overly whiny today. :| -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr. Welle: Erdball - F104-G Starfighter

Carpe Diem, Roger! Carpe inventory control, and carpe respect from the man, and carpe more money. And then, carpe six-pack. -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr. Welle: Erdball - F104-G Starfighter

Yeah, yeah, quit boasting - everyone's going on holiday except me :(( I've suddenly realised just how long I spend chatting every day when I should be working :-O Now what to do with myself for the next week - I'd hate others around me to take note of my sudden surge in productivity. As it is everyone seems to feel I work too quickly for some reason, and I keep getting told to relax more :~
