Tomorrow is the last day of the Beltane Week in Peebles, Scottish Borders[^]. There is a fancy dress parade through the town tonight with prizes for the best ones. All the local primary schools have floats + lots of other groups. Tomorrow morning there is a parade with some of the fancy dress people + normally 6+ pipe bands, silver band etc. Then there are the Beltane Sports including a 10K road race + 3K fun run[^] Should be good fun.
Um, nice although I thought that Beltane was May !?! :confused: Ant. I'm hard, yet soft.

The Peebles Beltane[^] marks the return of summer and has been combined with the Riding of the Marches (town boundaries) to become the Peebles Beltane.

Sounds great, is it part of your job perks? Sitting on the beach having lunch, I guess this is not in the UK then given the predicted weather report! Ant. I'm hard, yet soft.

Yesterday the boss was worked up about inventory value being reported far too high. It took me all of 10 minutes to locate the first $150,000 error; no one else in the company knows anything about inventory control.:) Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

Yeah, yeah, quit boasting - everyone's going on holiday except me :(( I've suddenly realised just how long I spend chatting every day when I should be working :-O Now what to do with myself for the next week - I'd hate others around me to take note of my sudden surge in productivity. As it is everyone seems to feel I work too quickly for some reason, and I keep getting told to relax more :~
