small Content Management System
-
I am looking for a Content Management System for a small Website, that works offline and create static (X)HTML Files that can be provided (or ar e provided by the CMS) to the web server. Features it should have (order by relevance): - Open Source - Win32 Application (.Net, VC++, VB ...) - Pictures inside Article - WYSIWYG (or near-WYSIWYG) Editor - XML-based data storage and templates Does anybody know such a project? I have searched on sourceforge.org and freshmeat.net, but all the CMS projects are Web-based, most of them with php and mySql. Thank Roland

Run them locally and publish the generated HTML?
we are here to help each other get through this thing, whatever it is Vonnegut jr.
sighist || Agile Programming | doxygenThe CMS should also be installed on an Computer of a not so advanced user. I don't want to install a mysql-apache-php system on his machine... And then you have to grep the whole local page and send this to the web server, what is another step the user has to do. Thanks for the response, even if I don't like your answer ;) Greets Roland

As I understood it right, the maximum of 50 Articels means that you can have max 50 Text and pictures, so if you have 2 pictures for each article, you can have max 16 Pages. Maybe it's enough, but if you want a little bit bigger site, it gets expensive (300 $). Some years ago, there was an smaller version for about 80$ that I think would fit into the wallet, but 300$ is to much for the thing I would use it. Thanks Roland
