I noticed that too but I managed to get around it. Just disable cookies when you visit download.com. I think they check to see how often you visit the site and ask you to "register" after a certain number of visits. Alternately, you could just delete the cookie after each visit - but that's a pain. Temporarily disabling cookies is really easy if you use something like GuideScope. nobody@aol.com could be a vaild email address, so watch out with that one. The best one to use is something like host@localhost or if they require a "period" in the address, use host@127.0.0.1. That way they get the email sent straight back to them! John Uhlenbrock wrote: 555 Nowhere St....etc It would be so so funny if that was a real address! The poor guy would be wondering when he signed up for forty two thousand AOL CD's and that porn site subscription. ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "I wrote a program in Visual C++ that allows me to send over 5,000 GIGABYTES of Video to every computer and TV Set connected to the Internet in "0" SECONDS (YES! I typically use nowhere@universe.com, but localhost beats it!

Sometimes you cannot use a dummy email address as they'll mail you a confirmation code. So first create a dummy hotmail address just for this purpose. Hotmail accounts get spammed 2 months after signing up anyway, so you wont be adding too much to it :-) Nish Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain www.busterboy.org If you don't find me on CP, I'll be at Bob's HungOut
