If I thought that leaving it to your imagination would make it worse I would just tell you. However, trust me it isn't. 100 x 120 fits nicely in the 'biography' section at the bottom of articles. For a JPG or GIF, 5-10Kb of that size is normal, but for a bitmap, 35Kb is about right. I still get article submissions where the image format is .bmp, so I'm allowing this format for those poor souls. cheers, Chris Maunder

bmp is the biggest format available, as it does no compression, so 'even as a bmp' makes no sense. Convert it to a jpg using M$ Paint. Christian I have come to clean zee pooollll. - Michael Martin Dec 30, 2001

Microsoft has been donating computers and software to schools (and I think libraries) here in Canada for years.
