We tried the original one, and it worked very well! We always get trouble in the summer when the trees get leaves, and our network goes belly up, or very slow.

I heard they work good, but darn they look ugly :) I thought of building one in the past to network 2 buildings that are probably like 1/4 mile apart. Do you think it would have worked?
They work better than some commercial Wifi kits! We have 1/4 mile and trees to contend with. They're not brilliant, but certainally work good enough to tx files, but not to compile over. :doh:
