We tried the original one, and it worked very well! We always get trouble in the summer when the trees get leaves, and our network goes belly up, or very slow.

I heard they work good, but darn they look ugly :) I thought of building one in the past to network 2 buildings that are probably like 1/4 mile apart. Do you think it would have worked?

They work better than some commercial Wifi kits! We have 1/4 mile and trees to contend with. They're not brilliant, but certainally work good enough to tx files, but not to compile over.

3.25 inch chili cans work better. Sodder two or three of them together so that the length of the can is at least 11 inches then use the formula here[^] to determine where to put the lead. John
