This posting is a scam. There are google ads on the top, bottom, and side of this web site. The so-called "product listing" ranges from everything from "MIS system" to DirectX games. All listed as "coming soon". What a joke. The owner just wants you to view this site so he can make some money from the google ads.

I thought you only got payment on the google ads for click throughs not page views. At least that how it worked last time I looked at it.

There are two types of google ads - search ads and content ads. Search ads are displayed when you use google to search for something. With these ads, the advertiser pays when the ad is clicked, as you said. But with content ads, the advertiser pays for each impression, not each click. The site above (just like CodeProject) displays content ads.

It looks more like you need to focus. You are starting a software company to develop what type of software? Is it products based or service based? If you are going to the product route you need to put up one or two excellent pieces of software that specialise in some way in the area in which you wish to develop. If you are going to the services route then putting products on your site won't help. You need to put case studies of how great your services are. Now, as you are just starting that might be a little difficult, but I'm assuming you have a customer or two lined up that are friendly and will help you get going and offer assistance for a case study.

Right - those google ads have to go. No one will take you seriously - and they will probably throw up ads for your competition which you don't want. You have to think about what you are saying:

          Source Systems Hospital Management Software
          (Coming Soon)

          .NET 2.0 / XML / MS Access

          Features

          • Doctors
          • Other Staff

Really. Your software comes with its own doctors? Wow!!! I jest, but proof read your page so that it causes no misunderstandings. Also, who are your customers? Are they going to care at all about ".NET 2.0 / XML / MS Access"? And if this is for a hospital then the software will likely be needed by more than one person, so running through MS Access is probably a bit of a problem. You also mention "Patients, history, info" - This is highly confidential information so you must be able to prove that your software can store it safely. So before you get a "buy" from your customer they will need a lot of questions answered about reliability, security (e.g. encryption, confidentiality protection, user access rights and so on) There are things in there that show that you have not thought sufficiently about your target market. You also have a lot of useless information on your site. I think you need to reduce the amount of information so that only information that will pull your customers in is displayed. That page about what a "PC" is is pointless

I'd like to know how to sign up for those google ads. I only get paid per impression, and then its not very much either. Matt Newman
