David I am not a developer nor have I worked in a Software Company That said if your goal is to be compliant I would suggest your hire someone to review your current company standards As a long time Pharmacist we were regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy who did periodic inspections at the Retail Level it was not real serious but when I moved over to a Teaching Hospital as a Director the review was a lot more rigorous Our HR did not understand anything about the skills to work in a teaching environment let alone a Hospital If they had a Pharmacy License that was all that was needed Paying for a review could give you suggestions that would help in deciding on a outside company or hiring a full or part time HR person I have installed a couple of Hospital Systems and am amazed at how BIG Hospitals do not listen to the talent they have When I suggested to one Hospital CEO they use a Pharmacist to manage the Pharmacy side of the system the IT people wanted my head in the end the CEO went with my recommendation When I pointed out they lost half a million in billing over 6 months might have had something to do with the acceptance of my recommendation My BEST it is great that you reached out to the amazing talent that hangs out here

Before I retired I was designated a Developer/Architect but only for desktop systems. With 30+ years developing desktop solutions and 15 years in the finance industry I had a good domain knowledge. I was however totally useless when it came to major systems based on things like Hadoop, AI and analytics (read Python). I could help with a good design but did not have a handle on the technology. I recently bought a my first 34', 3440x1440 @144Hz (4,9 Mpixel) monitor. There are others better than this for sure (as it is not that expensive), but I am really happy with it. Then you found an example of how "screen sharing could work well in a very limited number of cases". I just wanted to point out that my disagreement with having screen recorded by an employer/manager is not due to hating on the whole concept of screen sharing but that there is some proper reasoning behind this stand. If at some point in future they manage to generalize the opponents to this idea as "haters of screen sharing" that's when they'll be able to slap this onto us as a norm.

All lists of articles have the issue. Windows Forms[^] What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? I think you mean multiple projects in one solution. A project is (usually) an exe or dll (or both). The data layer is usually a dll. Easier (for one person) to work with multiple projects under development when they're in one solution. 'ol Boom Boom was effectively DOA since it's Environmental Impact Statements were written on the assumption that pure fusion bombs would be available to power it. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason? P.S.: here's a description of the function I mentioned: Change Signature[^] GOTOs are a bit like wire coat hangers: they tend to breed in the darkness, such that where there once were few, eventually there are many, and the program's architecture collapses beneath them. (Fran Poretto)
