I want to learn ASP.NET 2.0 + C# + Visual Studio 2005, I have sound knowledge of previous editions. Please suggest me that which (one or more) book you have referred and what is your opinion about that book. We are 4-5 friends and can share multiple books but want to purchase best books available (Microsoft Press, Wrox, O'Reilly or any publisher). Please reply soon because we have to start development on above combination ASAP. PS: Any sugesstion for a good book on Windows SharePoint Services and SharePiont Portal Server. Regards Mukesh

If you know C# 1.1, then MSDN will be all you need to learn the VS2005 stuff. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

You always said it's slower, but that means you get more reflex action time while debugging ;P Regards, Nish

If the C# 2.0 features don't do it for you, look at some of the new UI stuff. However, NEVER use it for C++, I spent the night doing so, and the IDE is buggy as all hell. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++
