You can use MySql with ASP.Net or php: many ISPs offer MySql as a free alternate to SQL Server and the one I use (brinkster) has just upgraded to MySql Version 5 so I now have access to a much richer set of features for the product. Go have a look at the MySql site for more information and hints and tips. I prefer ASP.Net (and C#): it's either a personal decision or one forced upon you by the company you work for or a project you join. If you're comfortable with php stick with it for now tho it does no harm to try and learn another language. www.merrens.com
