Migrating to VS2005 and SQL2005

We have a project running in .NET 1.1 built on SQLServer2000 and VS.NET 2003 ... now if we migrate the same project into VS2005 and SQLServer2005 does that mean we have migrated to .NET 2.0 (ASP.NET 2.0, C# 2.0)? ########################## Taking pride in one's work is good as long as ego isn't a part of it. ##########################

Yes. VS 2005 won't compile apps that use .NET 1.x (there might be ways around it, but not by default).

Migrating can be a pain in the ass but it is worth the effort. how vital enterprise application are for proactive organizations leveraging collective synergy to think outside the box and formulate their key objectives into a win-win game plan with a quality-driven approach that focuses on empowering key players to drive-up their core competencies and increase expectations with an all-around initiative to drive up the bottom-line. How did you accomplish that signature that expands beyond the borders of the post? It's really obnoxious.

How did you accomplish that signature that expands beyond the borders of the post? It's really obnoxious.
Are you using FF? It seems FF doesn't render some CSS2 margin and width element properly. :( Take a look at the following. I wanted to build it for different screen resolutions...

Hey, you're right, Toasty! It looks fine in IE, but FF has it very different!

FYI, Microsoft has introduced MSBee for that. Edbert Sydney, Australia
Yes, I know. That's why I remarked that by default you can't compile 1.x in VS 2005, and that there are ways around it. I have not used it though. But thanks! :)

Opera 8.51 also has this problem.
