Just when you think you've seen it all, an Italian club cut Ahn from their roster for the simple reason that he scored the winning goal against the Italian nationals! How outrageous can you get?! What was he supposed to do? Not make the goal? I can understand if he had cheated, but he did nothing but represent his country and score a winning goal. I would be terribly embarrassed if I was an Italian football fan about now. Here's the story: Angry Italian club owner cuts Ahn Cheers, Tom Archer Author - Inside C#, Visual C++.NET Bible

"I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian soccer." I'd love to have the power to ruin the skills of soccer players in an entire country... Ahn seems to have done it :-)

I didn't include Columbia becuase in that case you're talking the mob. I'm talking here about what are supposed to be business people firing someone for representing his country. Cheers, Tom Archer Author - Inside C#, Visual C++.NET Bible

Andres was shot in a fight with a drunk guy. It wasn't mob related. I know because I lived in Colombia at the time and followed the investigation.

I stand corrected then. This is the main problem I have with the media. When the story first broke out, it was said that he was killed by the mob becuase of lost gambling money. Of course, once the investigation was finished the media didn't care to correct themselves as it was old news  Cheers, Tom Archer Author - Inside C#, Visual C++.NET Bible
