I have listed some WPF resources in the article. Start with Josh's blog. He has TONS of tutorials. He is Mr. WPF. My humble blog also has a good bit of WPF information. Our blog roles will also get you started with links. If you download my presentations, my applications can teach you a lot and they list resources and how to set your machine up for WPF VS2005. If your using VS2008 then you only need to install VS2008 and begin your programming. BTW: being an ASP.NET developer will be a BIG plus when you dive into WPF. Read this article and you'll see what I mean. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/WPFProblemSolving.aspx[^]

Excellent. Though truth be told, the majority of my development is Middle Tier and Backend development. I'm the problem solver at the company when it comes to Algorithms and stuff  I [try to] stay up to date so that my job skills are transportable. Thanks a million Karl, you will definitely be hearing from me, Josh too. You've been warned :-\

Cool. BLL and Backend is where I spent most of my time too. Straight scoop dude! I have two articles in the mill. One that will be posted today or tomorrow on, "WPF MDI For Business Applications." The second one is RIGHT up your alley, "Declarative Programming In The Business Layer." I've been doing this for years in my ASP.NET applications. With the release of WPF 3.5, you'll see what I can bring to the table with a single base class. This will be my best article for sure. Those BLL objects can dance! Don't want to give too much detail, but the article is a week or so away. This solution will work with WPF, ASP.NET and WinForms too!

Man, I mean this as such a compliment. Its depressing talking to you and Marc. Y'all make me want to leave my job because it doesn't provide me with the technical satisfaction I seek. I'm so looking forward to your articles, particularly the second.

A lot of what I've done and do is on my own time. Read this and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. It took me 4 months of no sleep to learn WPF and then change the direction of my company from ASP.NET to WPF. Now we are a WPF shop! I love ASP.NET and we still use it, but now do our business forms in WPF. Middle tier is the same, backend is the same, just a different front end. Hey, it's all good. WPF Story http://karlshifflett.wordpress.com/2007/12/22/mentors/[^] WPF over ASP.NET http://karlshifflett.wordpress.com/2007/12/20/reasons-for-choosing-wpf-over-aspnet-for-very-large-project/[^]
