From what I read from the news earlier, the current Pope had covered up on molestations committed prior to his papacy whilst a Bishop, this (Clickety[^]) to me sounds a bit like hypocrisy, but then I'm quite the cynic.

You're not alone. The WebPage said "The Pope had tears in his eyes ". Are these tears Crocodile Tears?

I'm sure most of the children had tears in their eyes too.

At a minimum, let's just say there's a bit of a credibility problem there. X|

And no doubt they were real tears and not the Pope's false (fake?) tears.

I suspect the RCC has as a core problem, the fact that they do all sorts of things that are not in the Bible, in this case, a chaste clergy. I'm not saying that chastity leads to child molestation ( I don't believe I'd act that way under those circumstances ), but you have to think it's a factor. The next thing is simply that child molestors must, to do what they want to do, work themselves into positions of trust with kids. I don't think the RCC, for all it's failings, does not care about these things happening, they turned a blind eye in an age where people in general would do that if, for example, a man beat his wife, or whatever. They probably regret it now, but really have no idea how to deal with the problem without being bankrupted by legal proceedings against them.

There is hypocracy here. The church says "Homosexuality is unnatural" then advocates celibacy for its clerics?

I'm not sure how that is hypocritical ? Because celibacy is unnatural ? I can kind of see that, but it's not blatantly so.

Why the question marks? Of course celibacy is unnatural, it is the whole purpose of live to reproduce, it is what life is all about.

That is a thought on it. Others think that human life has a different purpose, to bring glory to God. The HRCC would probably like to believe that the recruits it gets for priests have a higher percent of those.

Because it's not really hypocritical in the most obvious sense. I had to think about what you were saying.
