Every word that I wrote is the absolute truth. No matter how loudly you yell, no matter upset you get, the historical facts remain. Check any dictionary you like, the etymology of the term "bugger" is "Bulgarian." And all of Western Europe used to assume that most folks in Bulgaria were queer as a three dollar bill, so much so that some corruption of Bulgarian means sodomite in most of Europe.

Actually, `absolute truths` don't stand curiosity just as seen above - curioser and LEFT UNCHECKED!? Mhe-he ;) And easy enough to answer - the land named Bulgaria was a neighbour of the Bisantium empire - which nobles continued the graeko-roman traditions of 'noble male friendship'... and later invaded by Turks which are(were) famous for gess what. There was no such country “France” in the 10th century, stop manipulating the history. And of course when later they have invented their word for “heretics” they have probably used the name of one of the first heretic sects wildly spread in Europe, and yes – started from Bulgaria. Their name in translation means something like “Loved from God” and they’d wanted more independence from the Church and as a result had been accused in every existing sin. This has nothing to do with England and how they are using the word nowadays. In Bulgarian the word “inquisition” stands for “tortures” and comes from the Spanish Inquisition. I don’t know any Bulgarian who is crazy enough to say that the Spaniards have invented torturing people and spread this practice in Europe. Anyway this whole thing has nothing to do with the Bogomils or their sexual practices. Probably they were perverted freaks, or probably real saints nobody knows for sure after more than a thousand years.
