      Once it's populated, I find it responds a lot quicker - you should find that, as long as you don't change the .NET profile, that it doesn't need to do all the repopulating that it did.

        Same goes for that 'Extensions Manager' PoS. Why on earth bring 'AJAX' to the desktop? Sounds like an excuse for writing shitty software... I suspect, VS11 will be even worse.

          It loads a whole lot quicker than the VS2008 version, and I like that. But I must admit I found the old version a lot easier to use.

                    Not freezing up the entire UI because some control is taking its time to look for data to display generally is not a bad idea. This allows the user to do something else until everything is ready. The only problem is that the form to add references is modal, so the user can't do very much else than wait.
