Just a thought. VS2010 introduced WPF as I recall (into the application itself) Will the future versions be developed in HTML5 / javascript?

Since when did awesomeness matter to Microsoft?

Funnily enough I have a guaranteed hiccough cure: Take a glass of water. Get a friend to block your ears (and airtight seal is required) Hold your nose. Drink the glass of water. Do it properly and it works every time.

The thing is: this discussion has become so polarized that I can't even tell whether you are joking or not.

I would call HTML5/CSS/JavaScript awesome, but certainly not WPF, which is an intricate mess.

:~ Between the two options, hiccough is eventually plain OK.

I agree - sort of. I think that rather than a mess, it just feels unfinished. It doesn't work like a mature technology, it just has a "built in a shed" type of attitude.

depends on whose digit, I guess ;) i read the brief at the link - I just wonder what prompted them to try it in the first place? Patient : "Dr. I can't (hic) stop hiccoughing!" Dr. (somewhat impatient after a long day) "Nurse! stick something up this patient's arse!"
