Another irritant of Visual Studio 2012

Visual Studio 2012 has another irritating feature that randomly some of the files are docked (right aligned) when opened. There should be a way to control/avoid this. Not sure if this portion of UAT for Visual Studio 2012 was done in KSA (http://www.microsoft.com/en-sa/default.aspx[^])?

On the tab there is a button with a sparkle - click that and it docks to the left so it won't close if you select a different file. There is an "docked even further to the left" by clicking the pin in the tab - you then have an option to close all but pinned. It took me a bit of getting used to, but it is a pretty handy thing to have.
