Do we have any data on the distribution of the CP denizens by location, age? [edit] Since ChrisElston offered his stats: Canada, 34yo [edit 2] I meant is there a way where we can mine this? Something along the lines of the Twitter, FriendFace and LinkedIn APIs (bonus points to [s]he who gets the reference, but not if you're in the British Isles, faaaar too easy :) )

If the post was helpful, please vote, eh! Quote worthy: I hereby claim this thread in the name of Drivel. Now and forever, defiant to the end. What is Multiple Sclerosis[^]? Food

Hey Chris, many thanks. Ask and ye shall receive. However, I think there is a slight mistake. If we take that awesome age bracket of 30-40, we get 30 Australia 45% Brazil 51% Canada 41% My math might be flawed, but between those three nations, we have 137% of the age group from 30-39 (or so is my understanding) Besides, shouldn't you be tucked in bed by now?

I saw that, then realised it must have been the spread of ages for a particular country rather than overall...

It seems that the US participation drops off a bit after age 80. I'll have to work on improving that in a few years... We used to have a rather nice demographics section for the site; whatever happened to it?

I'm in Britain and I'm 38 so there is at least one bit of data on the subject.

Considering the normal ratio of samples used to prove things (a couple of hundred : the population of the Earth), that's plenty. So, CP is populated by Englishmen approaching their forties.

Very well, edited my post, though really Mick Martin is the walking, talking, typing, cussing encyclopedia oracle that knows all such details

Though he'll be 45 down here in Australia the next time Code Project has a birthday, so he may be forgetting stuff by then.

Some stats: The Age column means the starting age in each 10 year bracket, so Australia has 1% of the audience under 20, 17% between 20 and 30 etc.

I just realized that your core age group for most countries is between 30 and 40. We need to bring in fresh young blood in here.

Images of scantily clad girls or some seriously sexy hardware ought to do it.

The percentages are within a specific country. eg Australia:
