You would not believe it :-) The school was so fancy that even the mice in the kitchen had to wear a tie.

The language is JavaScript. that of Mordor, which I will not utter here
This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a fucking golf cart.

Would you want to stand in front of 30 teenage boys armed with concealed weapons and hand out bad grades? :~

      1. You have to be 21 to get a concealed carry license in Texas. 1) Grades are handed out electronically, so there's no need to stand in from of 30 teenage boys.

I think this will be great for the grade average. Teacher: "John, you got an F on your homework..." John: "The F you say!?" *point gun at teacher* Teacher: "Heh, seems like I can't read my own handwriting... I meant to say A+, of course..." Soon they'll be a state of geniuses :D

I think they need an amendment about the constitutional right to bring alcohol with you! Gun + Alcoholic beverage would be a really powerful mix! One that could only be controlled with more guns and alcohol! ;P

An armed society is a polite society. Y'all sound like the idiots here in Texas that were claiming that the new "open carry" law would result in blood running in the streets, and that it would be "like the old west". A couple of things you are probably ignorant of (if you don't live here): 0) To carry a pistol in Texas, you need to pass a (hopefully) rigorous background check, take a training class on the legalities of using your weapon, and spend at least four hours of actual range time to prove proficiency. After that, you get your concealed carry license. 1) You must be at least 21 years of age before you can legally possess a hand gun and get a concealed carry license. For rifles, the minimum age to own is 18 (I think), and openly carrying a rifle is legal without a license. 2) The number of people that are licensed to carry in Texas, and that have abused that privilege can be counted on ONE HAND. Compare that to the number of cops that have broken the law (they're allowed to openly carry weapons), and any reasonable person begins to wonder who should/should not be carrying a weapon. Finally, someone that wants to shoot up a classroom or teachers office will most certainly NOT be deterred by gun-free-zone signs. The only thing that might deter them is the knowledge that they could be shot themselves, but the insane are rarely concerned for their own life. All this hand-wringing and doom-saying is pointless, absurd, and laughable.

Yup, a hand that's been blown to a million pieces by a shotgun. But didn't I hear that Alaska is the worst state for gun deaths? Hunting accidents, frozen stocks, and suicides, I suppose.

There have been guns in my house for over 40 years, and there hasn't been a single shooting there. Your generalization sucks big hairy donkey testicles.

Is that why the "Wild West" is noted with sophistication and everyone being courteous to each other?

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

If you go back and review history, the number of criminal shootings was lower per capita than they are today. So that makes "wild west" doomsayers just plain stupid.

Yes, because as we all know if the wild west was known for anything it was accurate and thorough documentation of shootings.
