Silly things that are remote controlled.

    Silly and expensive things, like RC submarines. When they do what they are supposed to, you don't see very much. As a bonus you get a free round of diving anytime that thing does not come up again. Flying models also cost a few bucks, but at least they don't stay up in the air when something goes wrong. Instead, they usually are smashed to stamp sized fragments. How about something that can't sink or crash. Something that is not so fast and even survives falling off a cliff. Something like a model tank, like this one?[^] Edit: Come on, take a look at that picture of a German Tiger :-)

    If you haven't emailed the EASA yet regarding the proposed new European regulations on RC model flying, please consider doing so. I have and am waiting for a reply.

        I've found laser pointers to be a somewhat effective remote control suggestion device.
