Sound of the Week
-
The Toxic Avenger - 87,6%[^] Spotify recommended this EP to me last week. Hadn't heard of the Toxic Avenger, real name Simon Delacroix. He's a French house artist and apparently he's reasonably successful having appeared in a Nissan Qashqai and a Yves Saint Laurent commercial. Not much to say really, except great sound :D

Not bad Rather catchy and finger tapping. Somewhat remenicsent of Vangelis though not his equal imho of which I have a brief somewhat odd story two in fact both re/ to musical artists and my knowledge of them. Was looking forward to your thoughts re/ my musical submission The Lounge[^] -Cheerios

For this week, a performance that changed the way I view accordions: [Alexandr Hrustevich Vilnius 2013 A.Vivaldi-P.Fenyuk. The four seasons "Summer" 1-3part](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SE222v1eyM) And some old cheesy moog dancing: [Rare Moog Dancers (UK 1971)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WklguzXdIC0)

What do you mean "B movie"? This looks like some straight A quality! On a side note, the music in the background, Night on a Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky, was featured in SOTW some years ago :D

I already didn't dislike accordions. It's pretty amazing, but I still prefer the original :)

Missed that one. Love the build up, bass drum and the ominous atmosphere. The ending is beautiful. Looked her up on Spotify too
