    Yes. I'm going to get a new computer with Windows 2000 soon, though.

        I found duct tape to be the best remedy for such script... My world tour What I do now.. "I spent a lot of my money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered" George Best.                       Look at the script above it seems to enumerate over all the CD drives on your computer and open them. I wonder if it would open the drives if you were in the middle of burning something to CD/DVD. That would stink if I was burning a DVD since they are about $2-4/DVD :(

                                  The real eye-opener is Microsoft would provide hardware access to VBScript executed from the context of a web page. FWIW it doesn't do anything from IE6 in Win2003. cheers, Chris Maunder
