If I remember correctly IRC uses UDP, so there's only a few inbound connections, and a big list that it broadcasts out to with all the clients. Usually with an upstream server in that list so the other server can handle it's list of clients as well. I do know several online games use something similar to handle their loads. Login servers redirect each connection to a different communication server, the communication servers have a private link between them to relay data, while each one broadcasts data out to it's list of clients. Leaving just a few connections from the comm servers going back to the application servers. The true man wants two things: danger and play. Hey guys Thanks, Ill check out http://www.infragistics.com/[^]. I already do use the Krypton Toolkit, and it does have a customized listbox, but its just the normal listbox with their own themes applied.

Thanks to Davie and Giorgi Dalakishvili i figured out the issue. As Davie said above, It was a loop in the constructor so when it was getting called it had not yet been set to listen to. So i moved the loop to its own Start() and it now works as below: SegmentOne = new Segment(SegmentOneStart, SegmentOneEnd, this._webRequest); SegmentOne.ProgressUpdate += new Segment.SegmentProgressUpdate(SegmentOne_ProgressUpdate); SegmentOne.Start(); Thanks guys

Yeah its an awesome app, normally i would just code my own using yours as a base but yours has all you could need just to keep things tidy when your running alot instead of the built in Taskbar grouping in XP. The files are only small empty classes in a dll file for testing and text files.. As i said it downloads the first file and then freezes. If you run it from in the debug folder (You can delete the exe and then recompile if you prefer.. I know i like to be safe) You can see it just downloads the first file and stops. You can see that as soon as the download of the first file finishes.. the foreach loop finishes causing the "Finished" Messagebox. But i have previously tested.. the array of files has 2 files. a Document.rtf and Document2.rtf to download..and it knows this. But after first file it stops. I have no idea why. Could any of you please help?
