It didn't... they sold it to another company. The other company has been rather quiet on their plans for it. Not sure what's going on with it. I wish they'd just release the code if they're not going to do anything with it.

We used to have all sorts of perks... but now it seems all that has disappeared. I don't really mind, but they really need to figure out better ways of keeping morale high and things at least somewhat organized. I guess it's been a roller-coaster ride working here. I see no reason why open source office applications should not suffice for the vast majority of users. However, I suspect many of the departments may have more invested - VBA macros, interfaces to other systems, etc. which could make this "cost-cutting" exercise have a number of hidden costs.
