Whilst I wouldn't claim to be familiar with Luton's better aspects (I am assured it does have some), the company I work for does have a branch office on the 'rural' outskirts of Luton (within T.B. spitting distance of the crematorium). The taxi ride from the train station to that particular location has to be one of the most consistantly depressing groundhog day experiences that I have to deal with. How you live with it on a daily basis I really don't know.
