Try installing MS XML 4, and making sure that works. It may be that the installer (which I believe uses XML) cannot cope with the version of the MS XML stuff you have installed. Having said that, I've installed the same SDK from CD (I have MSDN) on WinXPSP1 with no problems. Steve S

That's a pretty old puzzle, but quite a nice implementation of it. This game[^] is pretty cool, and heavily addictive. It's a sort of combination between Baulderdash and Sokoban -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

You're probably confusing the debugger by having your implementation of ~Value() inside the class definition. split it up, put the definition in a .h file, and the implementation in a .cpp file. And it really is a sensible convention to start class name "C", ie "CValue". Sorry to dissapoint you all with my lack of a witty or poignant signature.
