We use externals as well. Our Trunk always points to the Trunks for the third-party libraries - but when we branch - we branch the third-party libraries as well so that our deliveries will not pull in 'untested' libraries..

I'm writing an FTP utility and had wanted to dispay/allow user to update the ip address, user id and password in toolstrip text boxes. My issue - for which I have a work around is that the .net toolstrip textbox control does not allow for masking characters. I'm interested to hear some options that others may have used to solve this deficiency in the control.

From what I can tell - in order to actually display the XML you would select "source" from the view menu option. This opens up the XML file with standard notepad - a kludge at best.

1. Knowing that a companion's wife was working for the other company - you should have requested an interview location that would not have allowed her to know you were interviewing. 2. You should not mention your job search to anyone in your current company. Now if you stay - as has been noted - you're likely not to get choice projects because you're not 'trustworthy' - or there will be hard feelings with other developers - because "The must have given him a raise to stay..." Certainly not working conditions you want to be in. You can only hope that you get that job or find another soon.

I concur - There are many companies in the Charlotte area with a Large presence - IBM has a large campus as well as SunTrust and various insurance agencies.

Or if you are really 'old' and remember the old Bonanza TV series - they have the set that you can walk around - as well as other items. They used to have a travel tape that you could purchase at a visitor's center and it would describe where you were on the road around the lake - and periodically have you stop to look at some of the interesting sites. It doesn't take a 'long' time to drive around the lake - though with two young kids you might want to stop more frequently. There are casinos in Tahoe - so no need to drive to reno if that is on your agenda - though you might want to look into what shows are playing at the casinos - sometimes they are kid friendly (we saw Bob Newhart when we were there @ 5-6 years ago). I also agree with the individual who mentioned Google. Look around and find the kid friendly features and it will be an enjoyable trip. Doug
