I don't think there is an easy way for doing that. What I am doing is hosting this control[^] in a custom dialog and localizing that dialog. I am sure searching this site will bring up some more information, but I am too tired to do anything else right now. Hope this helps! The toughest projects are the ones where I don't agree with the original design and I am given the code to debug. I am forever thinking, I wouldn't have done it like that or If they had done it the way I suggested, we wouldn't have this problem. It is just a huge mental block because I have a biased opinion of the design.

I'd suggest looking at whatever part(s) of the functions that are truly identical (including types) and factoring that logic out of the two specific implementations, into a (private) sub-function. Or use the generic implementation as suggested by Harold. Either way, be careful to avoid falling back to an object-based (non-generic) implementation, because boxing-unboxing will impact your performance.

It would be nice if there could be some kind of ordering on this too, not sure how it would be achieved, so we could see the most popular tools first. Otherwise the best tools will get buried - as they'll presumably be recommended earlier, and its generally not considered good form to repost. Another possibility would be to "pin" some so they always appear near the top. A lot of gamer's sites have this feature, so the 5 most commonly asked/looked for tips appear before the user loses patience and asks again.

Hmmm, trying to decide whether you're being sarcastic or not... While there are a few aspects of a Defender's design that could be rectified on the whole it does the job it was initially created for very well. You do need a separate class to do what you want to do, and it needs to expose an event that the class that uses it must handle in order to respond to changes in ball states. Yes, believe it or not a wireless gambling device.... And yes, we deal with real money..... It isn't as out there and hackable as you might think - there are several Vegas casinos now experimenting with wireless handheld gambling devices that the person can take with them whereever they want on the casino's property that would allow them to play slots, video poker, blackjack, etc. And - believe it or not, the majority of the gambling machines run the Windows OS as their OS, not Linux or a proprietary OS. Same thing with most ATMs now too.... So yes, they can be secured against hacking, it just takes a bit of work to do so.....

Yeah, I was pretty excited about that until I read the following in the FAQ: Do I need a Mac to use MonoTouch? MonoTouch requires a Mac and Apple's iPhone SDK to test on the emulator and deploy on the device. And you will need to be an Apple iPhone developer to deploy on the device. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer before I can use Windows to program for the iPhone. Visual Studio is an excellent GUIIDE.
