Buy a digital lossless format of the song if you can. wma 128 source Burn to CD --> (Transcodes to WAV format, filling in data holes with what the formula thinks is best) Rip the CD --> (New format compresses itself again to whatever you picked) constantly recompressing/ decompressing will eventually become noticeable. I still stick to CD's, digitize in a lossless format(Alac for Ipods, wma lossless for zune, flac for Linux) and toss the cd in a closet somewhere never to be seen again. ~B

First off - How much time do you think you have for the project? that is a loaded question, but true. To me, it sounds like you have time. Also, this is the first time your superiors gave you free reign, so get them a document they can read and feel like they were 'right' in letting you go on your own. Just because they like what they read doesn't mean it helps you code. Make a second document that fits your brain perfectly. this second document can be considered "for your eyes only." Other people of course can read it, but this second document does not have to make sense to them. Send them to the first document if they complain. Spend an hour a week updating both as you go, at least. ~D

I've left pandora.com open for 3 days straight and hit 400 Mb on FF. It stayed there, and never really went passed. Much longer and my computer starts to lock up though, even though there is more ram to be had if needed. No I haven't checked if IE does any better with the same application. meh.
