How do you add the custom property to textbox? Do you mean inherite from textbox control? If so, just register the click event of OK button from the custom control. Then you write the code to update the property. :) I Love KongFu~

It's been running rampant lately, in all forums. The worst is in the SB, you can get hammered there. I'm learning slowly to not get baited into posting in there. Hi, All controls are created at run time and the code for controls that are "designed" within VS resides in the InitializeComponent method of the Form.designer.cs file. If you are not certain how to write code for a control then just create a test form using the control you want to learn about. Open up the designer.cs file and all will be revealed. The code you would write yourself will be very similar. Alan.
