First of all, the claim is used by all sides to promote their agenda, the dems say things are worse so they can start new special programs that make people dependent on them, and the Reps like money from big business so they want us to think that everyone has a job and we need to bring in more labor or outsource when in reality they just want to drive down labor costs more so CEO's can take home a bigger severance package when they bankrupt a corporation. Secondly, I'm not "completely wrong", I stated that the numbers were based on a flawed survey which you actaully support with your brilliant research. My last statement wasn't entirely correct but my point is that the survey method doesn't really generate accurate numbers, and that in this inaccuracy almost always leaves the number on the low side. Not entirely correct. There are 7 million people who count as unemployed, there are many many more who don't count for one reason or another, generally because they have given up or their unemployment has ended so they are without any type of income.

I had the same experience with 3 different camera shops in Brooklyn while trying to buy a Canon Digital Rebel.
