I made it clear that I'm using netTCP, it's my understanding that it's not possible to build a non-WCF client for protocol but I'm wondering if anyone knows a way around it.

According to the benchmarks, WCF over TCP is quicker than remoting. WCF is certainly capable of handling large loads. Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

Bug 1: This often happens when you have a major syntax error in the code (other than the code you are still typing). Chances are, if you do a quick compile (Ctrl-Shift-B), you will see one or more errors. Bug 2: I too have encountered this problem. It was a while ago, and I cannot recall the exact circumstances.
