Another VB.NET rant -
Honor and LoyaltyI think it was stupid also. A ring is a symbol and can be replaced. Would his feelings for his wife be diminished by getting a new one? Would the strength of the marrige be challenged by cutting the ring for what is a very practical purpose? What if he lost the ring one day, would he file for divorce?

Why all the MS bashing?I work with MS technologies for a living. SQL Server, .NET, MSMQ, Visual Studio, 2003 Server, etc. I like their products overall, but, there is room for improvement. At home my desktops are Windows, but my servers are Linux boxen. I don't like the company. I don't like their filthy tactics. MS is a convicted monopolist. This is not my opinion. THEY ARE A CONVICTED MONOPOLIST. They don't have to use dirty tactics to be a sucessful company. And that is my beef. As for your statement "there is no money in developing for Linux", I think you need to do some more research that isn't paid for by MS.

Cool VS IDE trickI can understand your pain, like any developer you want to get on and do your work and maybe even enjoy it. I'm really suprised at the problems you are having. I've always had good results from Borland tools. I must admit though, I havn't used them for about 3 years, and now I do everything in VS.NET. I hate MS, but not because of their product, most of it is good. But why do they need to play dirty? They can still be a very successful company without resorting to criminal and unethical activities.

Cool VS IDE trickIt's good to see that the VS debugger is starting to get to where the Borland debugger was 12 years ago.

Vegemite and PumpernickelAny sort of bread is good with veg, toasted or not. My preference is to do away with the bread altogether and just use a teaspoon.

Vegemite and PumpernickelHA! Vegemite is an Australian staple. And a good source of certain B group vitamins. Although I do suspect it's part of a great conspiracy. By getting kids hooked on yeast products from a very early age, it also makes it easier to introduce them to beer later.
