Surely though since this thread is on topic to what you are talking about it would make sense to consider it all? Otherwise everyone has separate conversations and the whole thing grows out of proportion SlashDot-style. I am against abortion for convienience, but for other reasons I can accept it up to the point the life resembles human, and for life saving reasons up to natural birth (so long as attempts to save the feotus are made regardless of reason if it is of a savable term). The current legal cut-off of 24 weeks is far too high. 18 weeks is borderline. That is falling off-topic though. That guy's life still has value as a human life. He needs to be incarcerated and preferably put to work for the victims (the families and the greater society). He will only be able to pay them back for what he has taken when all concerned are dead. Killing him early won't change anything for the victims and correct incarceration will ensure he will not be able to harm anymore than he already has and is. I agree that he should not have been free, but that is your system that needs correcting. Revenge will not help the next family that gets caught up in a needless tragedy like this at the hands of the next child murderer. Neither you nor I is able to dictate the worth of another human life. It is our gift to sacrifice not to take from others. Only freedom is ours to create and take away.
