You're right, a treadmill is boring - that's why I mentioned that I don't do it. Nor does it seem to be of any value, other than the benefit that any activity provides over no activity. And being fit is far more important than being light. But the question/statement was about weight loss. Proper diet, proper sleep, and strenuous activity make for a healthy combination. My point was that weight lifting is not a solution for any but those few who actually enjoy it.
