ive have herd a lot of mac users praising vista as the best Microsoft os, but all i herd is complaints from other pc users. even in podcasts like TWIT its very easy to see the pc people hate vista and the mac people love it i haven't tried vista yet, i can afford a new computer.

Mac vs. PC adsexactly, and how many Microsoft fans hate mac for these commercials and now will never even give mac a second glance. there good for both companies, it just spurs fanboyism on both sides. iam an avid pc user but i think the average home user would benefit from a mac

Mac vs. PC adsI think there hilarious, and good for Microsoft and Apple, tho better for apple. It just makes people like you mad and want to support Microsoft, and people who like apple want apple more. it no one who will change there computer because of the commercial. sure apple may sell a few more mac's to home users but there still barely denting the market Microsoft has. it would be more detrimental for Microsoft to try to retaliate then just laugh along.

VS2003 and VS2005why would you need both? i have both and i don't know why i just like using 2003 more i have 2005 to open projects stuff that 2003 can't. I am just wondering why you would really need both. this is probably a stupid question.

Straw Poll: Selecting topics of Interesti use the news letter for my daily tech news. I don't even go on the rest of the site unless I need some help with code or ideas to help a project along, even then i just use the search.

First Programming JobsI am only 18 and I've just graduated from high school and I am about to start university for systems engineering. I've never actually worked with any real programmers but i have co-op at an company where Iam writing a pretty extensive piece of software, that manipulates text files generated by PLC logic and HMI software. i was just wondering how old other people were when started programing and what kinds of programs they wrote.
